DO YOU MIX VINTAGE WITH MODERN?
As a vintage clothing boutique & website owner I myself am a heeeeuge fan of genuine and collectable vintage clothing not only for their quality and unique Rock ‘n’ Roll vibe but for fact that when you buy vintage you are usually supporting an independent brand or business. I was recently contacted by Pretty Attitude owner, Christine, with the opportunity to collaborate and select a couple of staple pieces that I could use in my everyday wardrobe to style with Strange Ray Vintage. This was a HELLA easy task for me as I love their Bohemian meets BADASS BABE selection of new clothing and accessories and have long been a fan of the brand. I’m pretty over shopping on the high street with mainstream retailers but I love finding unique online indie brands that have a clear direction with their style and that’s exactly what PRETTY ATTITUDE is all about. They’re not trying to tap into every trend and please every single person like some major e-tailers do; You know the ones that are bohemian rock chick on one page then polished and pristine queen on the next? I think a brand should have one genuine culture and personality, the world is big enough to share and you don’t need to have it all, right? I’m rambling on now. A lot of thoughts in my brain!

LOOK TWO FEATURED THESE INSANE LEOPARD FLARES FROM PRETTY ATTITUDE PLUS A VINTAGE WAISTCOAT FROM MY SHOP WHICH IS NOW SOLD TO MY LOVELY FRIEND PAIGE. THE FLARES ARE SUPER SOFT COTTON AND NICE AND LONG FOR ME WHICH IS GREAT AS I’M 5’8” AND LIKE TO WEAR PLATFORMS SO FINDING FLARES THAT DON’T LOOK CROPPED ON ME IS HARD.
ALSO THIS IS THE HAPPINESS OF A SPINNING CHAIR AND PRETTY MUCH HOW I SPEND MY DAYS IN THE VINTAGE BOUTIQUE WHEN NO CUSTOMERS ARE IN.
